Semiotics · Generative AI · Higher education
I work on how generative systems produce signs that have already resolved their interpretant — and on what that pre-resolution does to the university as a site of interpretation.
PhD in semiotics (UQAM, 2022), lecturer at UQAM, UQAT and UQO. My postdoctoral project, Interpretive Cooperation in the Age of Algorithmic Semiosis, is built around three gestures: mapping probabilistic reliefs, inhabiting the semiotic silence they short-circuit, and instituting the conditions for semiotic resistance in higher education.
